I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments to the Regulations governing the Temporary Establishment of Personnel in the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

Imperial Ordinance No. 89
The following amendments shall be made to part of the Regulations governing the Temporary Establishment of Personnel in the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry:
In Art. 1, "full-time 144 persons", "full-time 368 persons", and "full-time 931 persons" shall read "full-time 372 persons", "full-time 853 persons" and "full-time 1873 persons" respectively.
Article 4-(5), The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry may, when deemed necessary, establish a material adjustment office or its branch at any locality as may be necessary for taking a part of the affairs relative to the allotment of materials for the agricultural, forestry, live-stock or fishery production as well as of the material for the production of the commodities to be used exclusively for the said industries.
The chief of the material adjustment office shall be appointed from among 2nd class secretaries or technical officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the chief of the branch office of the material adjustment office shall be appointed from among 3rd class secretaries or technical officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
In Art. 5, item 1, under the heading of the secretaries of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, "full-time 7 persons" and "full-time 3 persons" shall read "full-time 9 persons" and "full-time 11 persons" respectively; and in the same item, under the heading of the technical officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, "full-time 3 persons 2nd class" and "full-time 3 persons 3rd class" shall read "full-time 7 persons 2nd class" and "full-time 13 persons 3rd class" respectively.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
