I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments of the Regulations governing Organization of Local Commerce and Industry Bureau and others and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 40
Article 1. The following amendment shall partially be made to the Regulations governing the Organization of Local Commerce and Industry Bureau.
The following paragraph shall be added next to Article 2, paragraph 1.
In the event of the boundary of mining industry or sand mining industry stretching over the jurisdictions of two or more than two Local Commerce and Industry Bureaus, or in the event of the occurance of doubt concerning the jurisdiction of the mining industry or sand mining industry on account of the lack of clearness of the boundary of jurisdiction of Local Commerce and Industry Bureaus, the Minister of Commerce and Industry shall nominate Local Commerce and Industry Bureau for the jurisdiction concerned.
Article 2. The following amendment shall partially be made to the Regulations governing Temporary Establishment of Personnel in Tokyo Metropolis, Hokkaido and Prefectural Government.
In Article 5, paragraph 1, "32 (full-time)" shall read "40 (full-time)."
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
