I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendment to the Imperial Ordinance No. 42 of 1946, regarding the Special Instance of the Enforcement Regulations for National Medical Treatment Act, relating to those who have received the Medical Practitioner's or Dentist's license issued by Governor-General of Chosen or Taiwan, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 19
A part of the Imperial Ordinance No. 42, 1946 shall be revised as follows:
In Article 1, "Persons licenced as medical practitioners or dentists by Governor-General of Chosen or Taiwan," shall read "Persons licenced as medical practitioners or dentists by Governor-General of Chosen or Taiwan, persons licenced as medical practitioner by the Envoy Extraordinary and Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Manchoukuo, or Japanese nation licenced as medical practitioners or dentists unlimited in place or term in Manchoukuo."
Article 2. Persons under the preceding Article may temporarily take an examination given by the Preliminary Examination Committee for Medical Practitioners' State Examination or the Preliminary Examination Committee for Dentists' State Examination.
Persons who passed the examination under the preceding paragraph may be licenced as medical practitioners or dentists, in spite of the provisions of Article 1, paragraph 1 or Article 2, paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Regulations of National Medical Treatment Act.
Supplementary Provisions:
This present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
