昭和二十二年法律第七十二号日本國憲法施行の際現に効力を有する命令の規定の効力等に関する法律の一部を改正する法律をここに公布する。
I hereby promulgate the Law concerning the Partial Amendments to the Law No.72 of 1947, relating to the Validity of the Provisions of Orders still effective at the time of Enforcement of the Japanese Constitution.

Law No.244
昭和二十二年法律第七十二号の一部を次のように改正する。
A part of the Law No.72 of 1947 shall be amended as follows:
第一條の二　前條の規定は、昭和二十年勅令第五百四十二号（ポツダム宣言の受諾に伴い発する命令に関する件）に基き発せられた命令の効力に影響を及ぼすものではない。
Article 1-(2).　The provisions of the preceding paragraph shall exert no influence upon the validity of the Orders issued under the Imperial Ordinance No.542 of 1945 (relating to the Orders to be issued in consequence of the Acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration).
第一條の三　行政官廳に関する從來の命令の規定で、法律を以て規定すべき事項を規定するものは、昭和二十三年五月二日まで、法律と同一の効力を有するものとする。
Article 1-(3).　The provisions of the old Orders relating to the Administrative Government Offices which arc provided for the matters to be provided by Laws, shall be of the same effiect as Laws, till May 2, 1948.
第一條の四　左に掲げる法令は、國会の議決により法律に改められたものとする。
Article 1-(4).　The Ordinances and regulations mentioned hereunder shall be deemed to have been transformed into Laws, by the decision of the National Diet.

The validity of the Ordinances mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall be provisional, and necessary measures for revision shall be taken by May 2, 1948.
第二條に左の一項を加える。
To Art.2, the following paragraph shall be added:
前項の規定は、内閣その他行政機関に対し、日本國憲法が認めていない場合において命令を発する権限を付與したものと解釈されてはならない。
The provisions of the preceding paragraph shall not he interpreted as to have given to the Cabinet or other administrative agencies the authority to issue orders in cases where the Japanese Constitution does not recognize it.
附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
