I hereby promulgate the Law concerning Reorganization of the Physical and Chemical Research Institute, a foundational juridical person.

Article 1. In order to contribute to rehabilitation of industries and promotion of science, the Physical and Chemical Research Institute, a foundational juridical person can, upon approval of Minister of Commerce and Industry, become a promoter of a joint-stock company or companies and make investment in kind to the same.
Article 2. In case where Minister of Commerce and Industry grants the approval as provided for in the foregoing Article, the same shall be made by designating kinds, quantity and value of assets which are to be objects of the investment in kind as provided for in the same Article.
As regards the investment in kind as provided for in the foregoing Article, no one can make cancellation as prescribed by the provisions of Article 424 of the Civil Code and disapproval as prescribed by the provisions of the Bankruptcy Law.
Article 3. Of liabilities of the Physical and Chemical Research Institute, a juridical person, such that have arisen from causes arising after the designated hour as prescribed by Paragraph 1 of Article 1 of the Law concerning the Emergency Measures for the Account of Companies shall be succeeded to by a joint-stock company or companies as provided for in Article 1 at the time of establishment thereof.
Article 4. The Physical and Chemical Research Institute, a foundational juridical person, shall be dissolved at the time of establishment of a jointstock company or companies as provided for in Article 1.
Supplementary Provisions:
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
The provisions of the present Law shall not be applied if the joint-stock company or companies are not established by March 31, 1948.
