I hereby give My sanction to the Law amending a part of the Special Account Law for Mint, for which the concurrence of the Imperial Diet has been obtained, and cause the same to be promulgated.

The Special Account Law for Mint shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 1, "other miscellaneous receipts and" shall read "prices of sold properties belonging to fixed capital and other miscellaneous receipts" and "the work expenses and" shall read "the work expenses and the expenses for enlarging, improving, supplementing, maintaining and reparing fixed capitals and" .
In paragraph 2 of Article 2, "and the resources of the expenses for enlarging and improving fixed capital belonging to this account" shall be added "the use of disposal" .
Article 3. In this account, the increase, decrease and change of the property shall be counted according to their happenings, in order to make clear the management results and financial status of the enterprise.
Article 8. shall be deleted.
Article 9-(2). In case the fund is deficient, the amount, to the extent of which the fund was used as the resourses of the expenses for enlarging and improving fixed capital in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 2 of Article 2, may be transferred from the General Account to cover the deficits.
Supplementary Provisions:
The present Law shall come into force as from April 1, 1947;provided that paragraph 3 of the Supplementary Provisions shall be enforced as from the day of its promulgation.
The amount of those expenditures, concerning the enterprise of the Mint in the estimates of expenditures of the General Account for the fiscal year 1946. for which a contract has been concluded by the end of the fiscal year and the payments have not been made by April 30, 1947, shall be transferred to and used in this account.
Law No.12 of 1932 (Law concerning the disbursement of the Mint Fund) shall be partially amended as follows:
In paragraph 3, "the fiscal year 1947" shall read "the fiscal year 1950" .
