I hereby give My sanction to the Law concerning the partial amendments of Mail Law for which the concurrence of the Imperial Diet has been obtained and cause the same to be promulgated.

Part of the Mail Law shall be amended as follows:
Paragraph 1 of Article 18 shall be amended as follows:
The classification and postage rates of ordinary mail matters are as follows:Postage rates, however, may be reduced as provided for by ordinance.
