I hereby given My sanction to the Law concerning the amendment of the War Indemnity Special Measures Law, for which the concurrence of the Imperial Diet has been obtained, and cause the same to be promulgated.

The following partial amendments shall be made to the War Indemnity Special Measures Law:
In Article 12, right after "in the Attached Table II, No.1" "and No.5" shall be appended.
Supplementary Provisions:
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
As regards the war indemnity special tax which is to be abated or exempted according to the provisions of Article 12, paragraph 1 of the revised War Indemnity Special Measures Law and which has already been paid in at the time of the enforcement of this amendment, the amount corresponding to the amount of the tax in question shall be refunded as provided for by Ordinance.
