I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the Application of the "Policeman's Pay Rule" and others to the Imperial Palace Assistant Inspectors and Imperial Palace Guards, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 629
Policeman's Pay Rule, Policeman's Supplied & Lent Goods Rule, Police Bonus Regulations and Rules concerning Supply of Medical Expenses, Subsidy & Grant for Cendelence to Policemen & Warders shall apply correspondingly to the Imperial Palace Assistant Inspectors and Imperial Palace Guards; provided, however, that in item 1, Article 1 of the Policeman's Supplied & Lent Goods Rule, "
" shall read "Collar"; in item 1, Article 2 of the same rule, "
" shall read "
in item 1, Article 3, "white shirt and Neck-tie" shall read "collars"; and in Article 4 of the same rule, "
2 suits of white shirt -12 months
" shall read "4 collars-4 months."
Supplementary Provision:
The present Imperial Ordinance shall come into force as from January 1, 1947.
