I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments to be made to the Ordinance regarding the Economic Stabilization Board, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 603
The following amendments shall be made to a part of the Ordinance concerning the Economic Stabilization Board:
1. In Article 2, "divisions" shall read "the President's secretariate and divisions."
2. In Article 3, par. 1, "Vice-Director-General" shall be added to "Director-General."
3. In Article 8, "division directors or" shall read "the Vice-Director-General, division directors or." The said Article shall be changed to "9," and the succeeding Articles shall be moved down in turn.
4. Article 7 shall be changed to "8."
5. Article 7. The Board shall have two Vice-Directors-General, one of whom the Prime Minister shall appoint from among the first class officials of the Government Offices concerned, and the other from among persons of knowledge and experience.
The Vice-Directors-General shall assist the Director-General in administering the affairs of the Board.
Supplementary Provision:
This Imperial Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
