朕は、專賣局官制の一部を改正する勅令を裁可し、ここにこれを公布せしめる。
I hereby give My Sanction to the partial amendments of the Imperial Ordinance regarding the Regulations governing the Organization of the Monopoly Bureau and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 587
專賣局官制の一部を次のように改正する。
The following amendments shall be made to a part of the Regulations governing the Organization of the Monopoly Bureau.
第三條第一項中「二部」を「三部」に、「煙草部」を「 煙草部 製造部 」に改める。
In Article 3, paragraph 1, "Division 2" shall read "Division 3," and "The Tobacco Department" shall read "The Tobacco Department; The Manufacturing Department ."
第四條大藏事務官の部中「專任八十五人」を「專任百九人」に、「專任二千百二十四人」を「專任二千四百七十八人」に、大藏技官の部中「專任二人」を「專任三人」に、「專任百八人」を「專任百四十四人」に、「專任八百六十四人」を「專任九百六十六人」に改める。
In Article 4, regarding the number of secretaries of the Ministry of Finance, "85 persons in full service" shall read "109 persons in full service" and "2124 persons in full service" shall read "2478 persons in full service"; in the same Article regarding the number of technicians of the Ministry of Finance, "2 persons in full service" shall read "3 persons in full service," "108 persons in full service" shall read "144 persons in full service" and "864 persons in full service" shall read "966 persons in full service."
第六條第一項中「大藏事務官」の下に「又ハ大藏技官」を加える。
In Article 6, paragraph 1, "or technicians of the Ministry of Finance" shall be added after "secretaries of the Ministry of Finance."
第八條中「、出張所及專賣官吏派出所」を「及出張所」に改める。
In Article 8, "Branch offices and Monopoly Bureau Official's sub-branch offices" shall read "and branch offices."
別表中東京地方專賣局の項を次のように改める。
In the separate list, the paragraph of the Tokyo Regional Monopoly Bureau shall be amended as follows:
東京地方專賣局 東京都 東京都　神奈川縣　埼玉縣　千葉縣　山梨縣
水戸地方專賣局 水戸市 茨城縣
宇都宮地方專賣局 栃木縣河内郡姿川村 栃木縣

同表中廣島地方專賣局の項を次のように改める。

同表中熊本地方專賣局の項を次のように改める。
In the same list, the paragraph of the Kumamoto Regional Monopoly Bureau shall be amended as follows:

附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この勅令は、昭和二十一年十二月十日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from December 10, 1946.
