I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amandment of the Enforcement Regulations of the Pool-Ticket Tax Law, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 553
A part of the Enforcement Regulations of the Pool-ticket Tax Law shall be amended as follows:
In Art. 1, "honours" shall be revised as "victory."
In par. 1 of Art. 2, "horse race in accordance with the Horse Racing Law or race of the horses in training in accordance with the Law for the protection of Military Horse Resources" shall read "horse race as prescribed in Art. 1 of the same Law (hereinafter called "horse race")."
In Art. 3, "in accordance with the Horse Racing Law," "or race of the horse in training in accordance with the Law for the protection of Military Horse Resources," "or race of the horses in training" and "or match" shall be deleted, "honours" shall read "victory," " par. 1 of Art. 11 of the Law for the protection of Military Horse Resources" shall read "Art. 11 of the Local Horse Racing Law," and item 2 shall be amended as follows:
In Art. 4, "in accordance with the Horse Racing Law," "or race of the horses in training in accordance with the Law for the protection of Military Horse Resources" and "or race of the horses in training" shall be deleted,"honours" shall read "victory," "par. 1 of Art. 11 of the Law for the protection of Military Horse Resources" shall read "Art. 11 of the Local Horse Racing Law," and item 2 shall be amended as follows:
Supplementary Provision:
The present Imperial Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
