I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance the Regulations governing the Organization of the Committee of Public Enterprise.

Regulations governing the Organization of the Committee of Public Enterprise
Article 1. The Committee of Public Enterprise shall be under the Jurisdiction of the Prime Minister and shall investigate and deliberate upon important matters concerning public enterprises, in response to the President's inquiries.
The Committee, besides the above paragraph, shall supervise the execution of public enterprises.
The Committee may propose to the President of the Economic Stabilization Board about important matters regarding public enterprises.
Article 2. The Committee shall be composed of a chairman and members not more than thirty-seven.
In cases of necessity for investigating and deliberating upon special matters, the Committee may have temporary members.
Article 3. The Chairman shall be appointed by the Cabinet, through the recommendation of the Prime Minister to the Throne.
Article 4. The members or the temporary members shall be appointed by the Cabinet from among the first or second class officials of government offices concerned and men of learning and experience, through the recommendation of the Prime Minister to the Throne.
Article 5. The term of office of the members shall be one year. However, under special circumstances, they can be released from office even during the tenure.
Article 6. The Chairman shall preside over the affairs of the Committee.
In the event of the Chairman being prevented from assuming his duties, a member appointed by the Chairman shall act in his place.
Article 7. The Committee shall have secretaries to be appointed by the President of the Economic Stabilization Board.
The secretaries shall manage miscellaneous affairs under the directions of the Chairman.
Article 8. The Committee shall have clerks to be appointed by the President of the Economic Stabliization Board.
The clerks shall engage in general affairs under the directions of their superiors.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall be put into effect as from the day of its promulgation.
