I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendment to the Regulations governing the Organization of the Ministry of Finance and others and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 541
Article 1. A part of the Regulations governing the Organization of the Ministry of Finance shall be amended as follows:
In Article 9, paragraph 1, regarding the number of secretaries of the Ministry of Finance, "53 persons in full service" shall read "54 persons in full service," and "296 persons in full service" shall read "304 persons in full service."
Article 2. A part of the Regulations governing the Establishment of the Temporary Personnels of the Ministry of Finance shall be amended as follows:
In Article 1, regarding the number of secretaries of the Ministry of Finance, "5 persons in full service" shall read "6 persons in full service," "76 persons in full service" shall read "99 persons in full service" and "199 persons in full service" shall read "267 persons in full service." In the same Article, regarding the number of technicians of Ministry of Finance, "8 persons in full service" shall read "10 persons in full service" and "3 persons in full service" shall read "5 persons in full service."
In Article 2, regarding the number of secretaries of the Ministry of Finance, "183 persons in full service" shall read "255 persons in full service," and "792 persons in full service" shall read "859 persons in full service," and the following items shall be added to the column of technicians of the Ministry of Finance:
Secretaries of the Ministry of Finance or technicians of the Ministry of Finance.
92 persons in full service, 2nd class.
230 persons in full service, 3rd class.
Article 3. A part of the Regulations governing the Organization of the Financial Bureaus shall be amended as follows:
In Article 1, item 6, "the Ordinance regarding the Control of Accounts of Corporations" shall be deleted.
Article 1-(2). The Regional Financial Bureau shall consist of the following six sections, but the Tokyo Regional Financial Bureau and the Osaka Regional Financial Bureau shall consist of the General Affairs Division and the following six divisions:
State Properties Division
The jurisdiction of affairs of the respective divisions and sections shall be determined by the Minister of Finance.
Article 4. A part of the Regulations governing the Organization of the Taxation Business School shall be amended as follows:
In Article 2, regarding the number of educational officials of the Minister of Finance "6 persons in full service" shall read "7 persons in full service," "9 persons in full service" shall read "10 persons in full service," and in the same Article, regarding the number of secretaries of the Ministry of Finance, "6 persons in full service, 3rd class" shall read
"1 person in full service, 2nd class.
7 persons in full service, 3rd class
."
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
