I hereby give My Sanction to the Regulation governing the Organization of Local Police Schools, and cause the same to be promulgated.

The Regulations governing the Organization of Local Police Schools
Article 1. The Local Police Schools shall be under the Home Minister's control. Their aims shall be to give knowledge and technics indispensable to police or fire-police offiaicls as leaders of police or fire-police officials, and at the same time to train their body and mind and to cultivate as follows:
Article 2. The Local Police Schools shall be as follows:
Tokyo Local Police School
Osaka Local Police School
Article 3. The staffs of a Local Police School shall be as follows:
President
Professor
Home Ministry Educational Officials
Full-time 6 persons (2nd class)
Full-time 6 persons (3rd class)
Home Ministry Secretairies Officials
Full-time 4 persons (3rd class)
The full number of the Home Ministry Educational Officials and Secretaries in each Local Police School, shall be fixed by the Home Minister.
Article 4. The Presidents shall be appointed from among the second class Home Ministry Educational Officials. They shall manage the school business in accordance with the order of the Home Minister and supervise the staffs attached to the schools.
Article 5. The Professors shall be appointed from among the second class Howe Ministry Educotianal Officials. They shall manage the education of students.
Article 6. The Presidents may commission lecturers, if necessary.
Article 7. The Local Police Schools may have councillors who help transact the school business.
Councilors shall be commssioned by the Home Minister from among the persons who have profound knowledge and experience.
Article 8. A Local Police School has a regular course and a special course.
Article 9. The regulations concerning the full number, entrance and leaving, and the term and cocrse of study of the students of Local Police Schools, shall be fixed by the Home Minister.
Supplementary Provision:
This Ordinance shall come into force on and after the day of its promulgation.
