I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning partial amendments to be made to the Pensions Law Enforcement Ordinance and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 448
The following amendments shall be made to part of the Pensions Law Enforcement Ordinance.
In Number 1, Paragraph 1 of Article 1-(2), "an abstract of one's census register" shall read "an abstract of one's census register or a certificate prescribed in Article 14-(3) of the Census Registration Law."
In Number 1, Paragraph 1 of Article 1-(3), "January" shall read "October in the odd years of Showa," in Number 2 of the same paragraph "July" shall read "April in the even years of Showa," and Paragraph 2 of the same article shall be deleted.
In Article 1-(4) "after a lapse of one term from the month" shall read "next to the month."
Supplementary Provisions:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
Article 2 of the Supplementary Provisions to the Imperial Ordinance No. 244 of 1942 shall be deleted.
