I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the abrogation of the Important Industrial Organization Ordinance, etc. in accordance with Imperial Ordinance No. 542 of the twentieth year of Showa (1945) concerning the Orders to be issued in consequence of the Acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 446
The Important Industrial Organization Ordinance and the Enforcement Regulations of Important Industrial Organization Ordinance shall be abrogated.
Supplementary Provisions:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
The control associations (excluding the control associations under liquidation) existing on the day of the enforcement of the present Ordinance shall be dissolved on the same day.
As for the liquidation of the control associations prescribed in the preceding paragraph and of those executing the liquidation on the day of the enforcement of the present Imperial Ordinance, the old Ordinance shall remain in force till the liquidation has been completed.
As for the liquidation of the control associations to be dissolved in accordance with the provision of Paragraph 2 of the present Supplementary Provisions, such items as the provisions of the old ordinance cannot be applied to shall be executed by the designation of the competent Minister.
