I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the Regulations of the Supervising Committee of the Liquidation of the Holding Companies and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 439
Concerning the Regulations of The Supervising Committee of the Liquidation of The Holding Companies.
Art. 1. The Supervising Committee of the Liquidation of the Holding Companies shall be under the jurisdiction of the Prime Minister and shall attend to the following matters:
1. Matters pertaining to the granting of approvals as provided in the Paragraph 4 of Article 5, the Paragraph 4 of Artiicle 6 and Article 25 of the Imperial Ordinance concerning the Holding Company Liquidation Commission.
2. Matters pertaining to the supervision of the operation of the business of the Holding Company Liquidation Commission.
The Committee may make recommendations to the Prime Minister on any matters pertaining to the liquidation of the Holding Companies.
Art. 2. The Committee shall consist of a number of members.
Art. 3. The members of the Committee shall be appointed by the Cabinet, upon recommendation of the Prime Minister, from among the members of the House of Representatives.
In recommending the members of the Committee in accordance with the above paragraph, the Prime Minister shall select them in such a way as to give representation to the various political opinions of the House of Representatives.
The term of office of the members of the Committee shall be two (2) years, provided that when special circumstances require a member may be relieved of his office before the expiration of his term.
The Committee shall have a Chairman.
The Chairman shall be elected from among the members of the Committee.
Art. 4. The Chairman is to preside over the business of the Committee.
In the event when the Chairman is prevented from performing his duties, a member of the Committee who is designated by the Chairman shall act on his behalf.
Art. 5. The Committee shall have secretaries who shall be appointed by the Cabinet upon recommendation of the Prime Minister.
The secretaries shall take charge of the general affairs of the Committee in accordance with the instruction of their superior officials.
Art. 6. The Committee shall have clerks who shall be appointed by the Cabinet.
The clerks shall perform the general affairs of the Committee in accordance with the instruction of their superior officials.
Supplementary Provision:
This Ordinance shall come into force as from the date of its promulgation.
