I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning Exception to Travelling Allowance for Speaker, Assistant-Speakers and Members of the Imperial Diet and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 425
Speaker, Assistant-Speaker and Members of each of the Houses of the Imperial Diet may be granted 75 yen per one day as daily travelling allowance, notwithstanding the attached table of the Payment Regulation of Annual Allowance and Travelling Expense for Speakers, Assistant-Speakers and Members of the Imperial Diet:
Speaker, Assistant-Speaker and Members of each of the Houses of the Imperial Diet who are responded to the convocation may be granted special allowance of 40 yen per one day of the session, besides the allowances prescribed in the Payment Regulation of Annual Allowance and Travelling.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall be applied to the allowance as from April 1, 1946.
