Regulations governing the Organization of the Research Institute of Social Science
第一條 東京帝國大學に社會科學硏究所を附置する。
Art. 1. Research Institute of Social Science is attached to Tokyo Imperial University.
第二條 社會科學硏究所は、社會科學に關する綜合硏究を掌る。
Art. 2. The said Institute is to be engaged in general studies of social science.
第三條 社會科學硏究所に左の職員を置く。
Art. 3. The said Institute has the following personnel:

文部敎官
Educational Officials of Ministry of Education.
專任十人 一級又は二級
Full-time, 1st or 2nd grade: 10
專任五人 三級
Full-time, 3rd grade: 5

M.E. Secretaries
專任二人 二級

專任二人 三級
Full-time, 3rd grade: 2
第四條 所長は、東京帝國大學敎授である文部敎官を以て、これに充てる。
Art. 4. The Director is nominated from among the professors of Tokyo Imperial University who are concurrently educational officials of Ministry of Education.
所長は、東京帝國大學總長の監督のもとに、社會科學硏究所の事務を掌理する。
The Director takes charge, under the supervision of the President of the Imperial University, of the affairs of the Research Institute of Social Science.
附 則
Supplementary Provision:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
