朕は、昭和二十年勅令第五百四十二號ポツダム宣言の受諾に伴ひ發する命令に關する件に基き銃砲等所持禁止令の一部を改正する勅令を裁可し、ここにこれを公布せしめる。
In conformity with the Imperial Ordinance No. 542, 20th of Showa, concerning the Orders to be issued in consequence of the acceptance of Potsdam Declaration, I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendment of the Ordinance prohibiting the possession of firearms and other weapons and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 384
銃砲等所持禁止令の一部を次のやうに改正する。
A part of the Ordinance prohibiting the possession of firearms and other weapons is hereby amended as follows:
附則第二項中「二箇月」を「四箇月」に改める。
In Paragraph 2 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Ordinance prohibiting the possession of firearms and other weapons, "two (2) months" shall read "four (4) months."

Supplementary Provision:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
