I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendment of the Regulations governing the Organization of the Imperial University and others and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 371
Article 1. The Regulations governing the Organization of the Imperial University shall be amended as follows:
In the annexed table No. 1, in the column for the Tokyo Imperial University the number of the Education Ministry Instructors (Professors) "338" shall read "340," of the Education Ministry Instructors (Assistant Professors) "284" shall read "286," and of the Education Ministry Instructors of the third grade "512" shall read "516."
Article 2. The regulations governing the courses of the Tokyo Imperial University shall be partially amended as follows:
In the column for the First Engineering Department, "measurement engineering-Second Course" shall read "measurement engineering-Fourth Course."
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
