I hereby give My Sanction to the amendments to a part of the Imperial Ordinance No. 528 of 1923 (12th Year of Taisho) concerning judicial police officials and designation of those to be commissioned with duties of such officials etc. and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 360
The following amendment is made to the Imperial Ordinance No. 528 of 1923 (12th year of Taisho):
Article 1 shall be deleted, and Article 2, Article 3 shall read Article 1, Article 2, respectively.
Item 1 to 13 inclusive of Article 4 are amended as follows:
1. The 2nd or 3rd rank Attendants attached to Bureau of Imperial Forests and Estates.
2. The 3rd rank Attendants of Imperial Household Ministry who are in charge of supervision of preserves.
3. The 2nd or 3rd rank secretaries of Ministry of Justice who are in charge of prison affairs excepting chiefs and warders of prisons and their branches.
4. Agricultural and Forestry secretaries and technical officials attached to forestry management stations.
5. Transportation secretaries of the 2nd or 3rd rank attached to Railway Divisions or attached to local government offices who are in charge of business of railway Divisions and designated by Ordinance such secretaries as are in charge of the duties to maintain order among the passengers and other people making use of the Government Railways or to prevent mishaps to the baggages and freights entrusted to the Government Railways; transportation secretaries of the 2nd or 3rd rank holding offices of station masters, masters of conductors' offices, or masters of automobile offices of the Government Railways; transportation secretaries of the 2nd or 3rd rank holding offices of assistant station-masters of the Government Railways.
6. Local technical officials of the 2nd or 3rd rank and secretaries of the 3rd rank attached to forestry management substation of the Hokkaido Government.
7. Local secretaries and technical officials of the 2nd or 3rd rank of the Hokkaido Government Office who are in charge of duties concerning public forests and estates.
8. Local technical officials of the 3rd rank of the Hokkaido Government Office, urban prefectures (fu) and prefectures (ken) who are in charge of duties concerning the regulations of hunting.
9. Attendants of the 3rd rank of Bureau of Imperial Forests and Estates.
10. Officials of Ministry of Imperial Household who are in charge of business of preserves excepting those who are mentioned in Item 2.
11. Judicial secretaries holding offices of warders.
12. Transportation secretaries of the 3rd rank attached to Railway Divisions or attached to local government offices which are in charge of business of Railway Divisions and designated by Ordinance—such secretaries as are in charge of duties to maintain order among the passengers and other people making use of the Government Railways or to prevent mishaps to the baggages and freights entrusted to the Government Railways; transportation secretaries of the 3rd rank or employees receiving treatment as secretaries who are assistant station masters, assistant masters of conductors' offices, assistant masters of automobile offices, masters of conductors' branch offices or masters of automobile branch offices; transportation secretaries of the 3rd rank or employees receiving treatment as secretaries who are attached to stations of the Government Railways and in charge of the duties to maintain order among the passengers and other people making use of the Government Railways or to prevent mishaps to the freights and baggages entrusted to the Government Railways; transportation secretaries of the 3rd rank, who are employees holding the offices of conductors of the Government Railways or other employees receiving treatment as secretaries.
13. Local secretaries of the 3rd rank holding offices of the supervisioners of rivers of the Hokkaido Government Office.
Article 4, Article 5, Article 6 shall read Article 3, Article 4, Article 5, respectively.
The following one paragraph shall be added to Article 7:
The provisions in the preceding two paragraphs shall apply mutatis mutandis to vessels in operation of demobilization or mine-sweeping.
The same Article shall be made Article 6.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
