I hereby give My Sanction to the Ordinance concerning the Abrogation of the Imperial Ordinance No. 297 of 1945, relating to the Treatment of the Judicial Leading Private, Army and Navy, and cause the same to be promulgated.

昭和二十年勅令第二百九十七號は、これを廢止する。
The Imperial Ordinance No. 297 of 1945 shall be abolished.

Supplementary Provisions:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
For those in the Army and Navy and not yet demobilized when this Ordinance comes into force, the former Ordinance shall remain in force even after the enforcement of this Ordinance, until they are demobilized.
