I hereby give my sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the except on to the Imperial Ordinance relating to Salaries of Government Officials and cause the same to be promulgated.

This fourth day of the sixth month of the twenty-first year of Showa (4 June 1946)
Salaries of Government officials may, notwithstanding the provision of Article 2 of the Imperial Ordinance relating to Salaries of Government Officials, be paid on or before the twentieth day every month for the time being.

Supplementary Provision:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
