We hereby give Our sanction to the Ordinance concerning the amendments of the Food Control Law Enforcement Ordinance and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 257
The following amendments are made to the Food Control Law Enforcement Ordinance.
In Article 1 the following item is to be added.
8. Canned foods which has been imported since august 15th 1945, and other foods which are designated by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry.
Article 10-6 No person shall sell or huy the foods which has been imported since August 15th 1945 except in such cases as enumerated helow.
1. In case where the Prefectural Food Corporation or any person designated by the prefectural governor sells the food according to the direction of the prefectural governor.
2. In case where any person huys the food from the Prefectural Food Corporation or from any person designated by the prefectural governor.
Supplementary Provision:
This Imperial Ordinance shall come into forces from the day of its promulgation.
