We hereby give Our sanctions to the amendments of the Imperial Ordinance No. 16 of the forty-third year of Meiji (1910) concerning the Defrayment of various Expenditures for the Assistant Police Inspector, Assistant Fire Police Inspector and Assistant Fire Police Engineer and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 256
Among the various expenditures concerning Assistant Police Inspector, Assistant Fire Police Inspector and Assistant Fire Police Engineer, those expenditures necessary for the enforcement of the provisions Imperial Ordinance No. 21 of the 43rd year of Meiji (1910), the Imperial Ordinance No. 126 of the 43rd year of Meiji (1910) and Article X, the Pay Warrant for the Policeman shall be defrayed, until further notice, by the Local Expenditure of Hokkaido and expenditures of Tokyo-to and other prefectures.
Supplementary provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force from the fiscal year of the 21st of Showa (1946)
