We, recognizing the urgent necessity of the Ordinance for the Disbursement of the Expenses for the Repatriation of Overseas Government Personnel and Others, hereby give thereto Our sanction with the advice of the Privy Council, in accordance with Paragraph 1 of Article 70 of the Imperial Constitution, and the said Ordinance to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 242
The Government may disburse the following expenditure of the General Account for the fiscal year of 1946-47.
1.　Expenses for the repatriation of overseas government personnel　50,000,000 yen
2.　Expenses for demobilizatin　820,000,000 yen
3.　Expeneses for post-war settlement of affairs　500,000,000 yen
4.　Subsidy for the price adjustment of coal　325,000,000 yen
5.　Subsidy to Civilian Merchant Marine Commission　150,000,000 yen
6.　Expenses for transportation of repatriates　278,000,000 yen
Supplementary Provision:
The present ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
