I hereby give My Sanction to the Law concerning the partial amendments to the Temporary Measures Law of the Costs of the Suit, etc., approved by the Imperial Diet, and cause the same to be promulgated.

The following amendments shall be made to a part of the Temporary Measures Law of the Costs of the Suit, etc.
In Art.1, "in the war-time" shall be deleted, and next to "exceptions," "for the time being," shall be added.
In Art.2, "one hundred hundredths" shall read "nine hundred hundredths."
In Art.3, "five yen" shall read "fifteen yen," "daily allowance-fifteen yen," shall read "daily allowance-forty-five yen," "hotel charges-fifteen yen," shall read "hotel charges-forty yen," and "one yen," shall read "three yen."
In Para.1, Art.4, "two yen" shall read "six yen," "five yen," shall read "fifteen yen," "fifty sen," shall read "three yen," "ten yen," shall read "thirty yen." In Para.2, of the same article "the preceding paragraphs" shall read "the preceding four paragraphs," "one hundred hundredths," shall read "eight hundred hundredths," "and Law No.41, 1919" shall be deleted, and the following shall be added as Para.1 to Para.3, of the same article.
The fee mentioned in Art.2 of the Bailiff's Fee Regulations shall be increased by fifty-three sen, the clerical work fee mentioned in Art.14 of the said Law, by forty-seven sen, and the fee mentioned in Art.15 of the said Law, by one yen and five sen.
The fee mentioned in Para.1, Art.3 of the Bailiff's Fee Regulations shall be determined according to the following classification.

The fee mentioned in Para.1, Art.9 of the Bailiff's Fee Regulations shall be determined according to the following classification.
The amount of the price obtained at auction The fee
Up to 10,000 yen 100 yen
If the said price exceeds 10,000 yen, 30 yen shall be added for every additional 10,000 yen, a sum which does not amount to 10,000 yen being regarded as 10,000 yen and calculated as such.
Para.3 of the Supplementary Provision shall be deleted.
Supplementary Provisions:
The date of the enforcement of the present Law shall be determined by the Imperial Ordinance.
Law No.41 of 1919 (Law concerning the Increase of the Bailiff's Fee and Advance) shall be abrogated.
The former regulations shall apply to the costs spent before the enforcement of the present Law.
