MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
Subject	Payment of Compensation to Employees of Closed Institutions.

1. Reference is made to:
a. Memorandum to the Central Liaison Committee, Tokyo, Economic and Scientific Section, this Headquarters, dated 4 Oct 45, subject: “Supplemental Instruction No. 2 Relating to the closing of the Wartime Banks and other Institutions.” paragraph 1 B.
b. Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, this Headquarters, file AG 240 (27 Oct 45) ESS - FI, dated 27 October 1945, subject: “Payment of Compensation to Employees of closed Institutions,” paragraph 2.
c. Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, this Headquarters, file AG 248 (30 Nov 45) ESS - FI, dated 30 November 1945, subject: “Payment of Compensation to Employees of closed Institutions,” paragraph 2.
2. The above referenced memoranda directed the payment of salaries for October, November and December 1945 to employees, and families of employees, of institutions closed pursuant to Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, this Headquarters, file AG 091. 3 (30 Sep 45) ESS, dated 30 September 1945, subject: “Closing of Colonial and Foreign Banks and Special Wartime Institutions.”
3. The final date for registration of persons to receive these authorized payments is hereby extended to 15 February 1946.
