MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Payment of Compensation to Employees of Closed Institutions.

1. The Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs are authorized to pay the December 1945 salaries to employees of the institutions closed pursuant to Memorandum AG 091.3 (30 Sept 45) ESS.
2. Persons entitled to such payments are those employees who have registered and the families of employees who have not returned from military service, provided a member of the family has registered. No payments will be made to officials discharged pursuant to the said memorandum or to those employees dismissed by the Bank of Japan as liquidator of certain closed banks or to those employees who, since the closing of their institutions, have found employment elsewhere.
3. The Ministries are authorized to certify such payments at a later date to the liquidator or agent appointed or to be appointed to take charge of the affairs of each closed institution, and then make claim for reimursement.
