Law for Partial Amendments to the National Savings Association
The National Savings Association Law (Law No.64 of 1941) shall be partially amended as follows:
Next to Article 3, the following one Article shall be added:
Article 3-(2). The member of a National Savings Association shall not be allowed to participate in any other National Savings Association.
In Article 4, "30,000 yen" shall be amended as "100,000 yen" .
Supplementary Provisions:
1 This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
2 To the person who is the member of more than one National Savings Association at the time of enforcement of this Law, the provision of Article 3-(2) of the National Savings Association Law after amendment shall not apply for three months in case the whole of the savings deposited through good office of the National Savings Association at the time of enforcement of this Law have no definite agreement on duration, or for three months after the lapse of term of the deposits with the longest duration in case a part of whole of the said savings has definite agreement on duration;provided, however, that this shall not apply to the case where the principal of the said savings comes to be increased (excluding those cases where only the principal of the savings deposited through good office of a single National Savings Association comes to be increased).
