Law for Partial Amendments to the Law for Total Number of Court Officials, etc.
Article 1. The Law for Total Number of Court Officials (Law No.53 of 1951) shall be partially be amended as follows:
Article 2 shall be amended as follows:
Article 2. The number of court officials other than judges (except marshalls, employees in part-time service, persons employed for a period not exceeding two months and persons who have temporarily retired) shall be 20,435 persons.
Article 2. The Court Organization Law (Law No.59 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 55 paragraph 1 and Article 56-(2) paragraph 1, "whose number shall be fixed elsewhere by statute" shall be deleted and in Article 57 paragraph 1, Article 58 paragraph 1 and each of the first paragraphs of Articles 60 to 61-(5) inclusive, "whose number shall be fixed elsewhere by statute" shall be deleted.
Supplementary Provisions:
1 This Law shall come into force as from January 1, 1952.
2 The officials supernumerary of the total number prescribed in Article 2 of the Law for Total Number of Court Officials as amended may be retained outside of the limitation of the total number until June 30, 1952.
3 With respect to those who are to be demoted, dismissed, or otherwise subjected to disadvantageous action between January 1 and June 30, 1952 in accordance with the amendment of the total number pursuant to the enforcement of this Law, the provisions of Articles 89 to 92 inclusive of the National Public Service Law (Law No.120 of 1947) shall not apply mutatis mutandis, notwithstanding the provisions of the Law concerning Temporary Measures for Court Officials (Law No.299 of 1951).
