I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Horse Racing Law.

Law for Partial Amendments to the Horse Racing Law
The Horse Racing Law (Law No.158 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
Article 1 paragraph 1 shall be amended as follows:
The horse racing may be held by the Government, by To, Do, Fu or prefecture, or by the city, town or village mentioned in any of the following items (hereinafter referred to as the designated city, town or village) in accordance with this Law:
(1) A city, town or village which has sustained serious damage from disasters, and which has been designated by the Local Finance Commission;
(2) A city, town or village which has a local race track within its area, and which has been designated by the Local Finance Commission.
In Article 20 paragraph 2, "item (1)" shall be added next to "Article 1 paragraph 1" , and "the same paragraph" be amended as "the same item" .
Supplementary Provisions:
1 This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
2 The city, town or village which has been designated under the provision of Article 1 paragraph 1 of the Horse Racing Law prior to amendment shall be regarded as having been designated under the provision of Article 1 paragraph 1 item (1) of the same Law as amended, on the day of promulgation of this Law.
