低性能船舶買入法の規定により国が買い入れた船舶の外航船腹需給調整のためにする売拂に関する法律をここに公布する。

(Sale)
第一條　低性能船舶買入法（昭和二十五年法律第二百四十二号）の規定により国が所有権を取得した船舶（以下「買入船がい」という。）であつて、運輸大臣が外航船腹の需給調整上改造することが必要になつたと認めるものについては、大蔵大臣は、当該買入船がいを運輸大臣の指示するところにより船級協会の外航船舶としての船級を取得するに必要な改造を行うことを條件として、左の各号により売り拂うことができる。
Article 1.　As-to the skeleton vessels whose title the Government has acquired in accordance with the provisions of the Government Purchase of Low-Efficiency Vessels Law (Law No.242 of 1950)(hereinafter referred to as "Governmentpurchased skeleton vessel" ) and which the Minister of Transportation deems it necessary to refit for adjustment of demand and supply of the ocean-going shipping bottoms, the Minister of Finance may sell them in accordance with the provisions of the following items on the condition that, in accordance with the instructions of the Minister of Transportation, their necessary refitting is to be made for obtaining a class for ocean-going vessels acknowledged by the ship classification society:
一　当該買入船がいを政府に売却した者に対し、当該買入船がいの買入価格に、運輸大臣が当該買入船がいの対価を支拂つた日から大蔵大臣が売拂の対価を受け取る日までの日数に応じその買入価格に対して日歩二銭七厘の率をもつて計算した額を加えた価格で売り拂うこと。
(1)　To sell to the person who sold that Government-purchased skeleton vessel to the Government, at a price equal to the purchased price of that vessel plus the interest on it calculated at the rate of 0.027% per day according to the number of days from the day on which the Minister of Transportation paid the purchased price of that vessel till the day on which the Minister of Finance receives the selling price;
二　前号によつて売り拂うことが困難なときは、一般の例によつて売り拂うこと。
(2)　Where it is difficult to sell under the preceding item, to sell according to the general procedures.

(Delivery)
第二條　大蔵大臣は、前條の規定により買入船がいを売り拂つたときは、その対価の支拂を受けた後でなければ当該買入船がいを買受人に引き渡してはならない。
Article 2.　In cases where the Minister of Finance has sold the Government-purchased skeleton vessel in accordance with the provision of the preceding Article, he shall not deliver the vessel to the person who has purchased it until the price thereof is received.

第三條　低性能船舶買入法第十四條、第十五條、第十六條第一項第三号及び第十七條の二第一項の規定は、第一條の売拂の場合に準用する。
Article 3.　The provisions of Article 14, Article 15, Article 16 paragraph 1 and paragraph 3 and Article 17-(2) paragraph 1 of the Government Purchase of Low-Efficiency Vessels Law shall apply mutatis mutandis to the case of sale in Article 1.
第四條　第一條に規定する買入船がいについては、低性能船舶買入法第十七條及び第十八條の規定の適用はないものとする。
Article 4.　With respect to the Government-purchased skeleton vessel under the provision of Article 1, the provisions of Article 17 and Article 18 of the Government Purchase of Low-Efficiency Vessels Law shall not be applicable.
附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
