Law for Partial Amendments to the Fisheries Cooperative Association Law, etc.
(Partial Amendments to the Fisheries Cooperative Association Law)
Article 1. The Fisheries Cooperative Association Law (Law No.242 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
Latter part of Art.100-(11) par.3 shall be amended as follows:
However, in this case, in Art.34 par.7, "its members (excluding associate members)" shall read "individuals who constitute directly or indirectly the Fisheries Cooperative Associations as members of the Mutual Relief Corporation (excluding the members of the Association coming under the provision of Art.18 par.3 or Art.94 par.2 and those who organize such members as well as those who organize the members of the Federation coming under the provision of Art.88 item (3) or Art.98 item (2)) or those who are the directors of the Fisheries Cooperative Associations as members of the Mutual Relief Corporation" ;in the proviso to the same paragraph, "those fishermen who have agreed to the establishment of the Association" shall read "individuals who constitute directly or indirectly those Fisheries Cooperative Associations (excluding the members of the Association coming under the provision of Art.18 par.3 or Art.94 par.2 and those who organize such members as well as those who organize the members of the Federation coming under the provision of Art.38 item (3) or Art.98 item (2)) which have agreed to the establishment of the Mutual Relief Corporation or those who are the directors of those Fisheries Cooperative Associations which have agreed to the establishment of the Mutual Relief Corporation" ;and in Art.48 par.3, "Art.63 par.2, Art.64 and Art, 65" shall read "Art.63 par.2 and Art.100-(9)" .
Latter part of Art.100-(11) par.5 shall be amended as follows: However, in this case, in Art.69 par.3. "Art.63 par.2, Arts.64 and 65" shall read "Art.63 par.2 and Art.100-(9)" ;in Art.70 par.1, "members (excluding associate members of each Association)" shall read "the directors of members (excluding associate members)" ;in par.2 of the same Article, "the principal clause of Art.34 par.7 and par.8" shall read "the principal clause of Art.34 par.7" ;and in the principal clause of Art.34 par.7 which applies with the necessary modifications in Art.70 par.2, "its members (excluding associate members)" shall read "individuals who constitute directly or indirectly the Fisheries Cooperative Associations as members of the Mutual Relief Corporation (excluding the members of the Association coming under the provision of Art.18 par.3 or Art.94 par.2 and those who organize such members as well as those who organize the members of the Federation coming under the provision of Art.88 item (3) or Art.98 item (2)) or those who are the directors of the Fisheries Cooperative Associations as members of the Mutual Relief Corporation" .
In Art.100-(11) par.6, "Arts.5, 6, 8 and 9" shall be amended as "Arts.5, 6 and 8" .
(Partial Amendment to the Central Bank for Agriculture and Forestry Law)
Article 2. The Contral Bank for Agriculture and Forestry Law (Law No.42 of 1923) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Art.5 par.1, "Mutual Relief Corporation of Fisheries Cooperative Associations," shall be added next to "Marine Products Processing Cooperative Association," .
Supplementary Provision:
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation;provided that the part relative to Art.34 par.7 of the Fisheries Cooperative Association Law in the provision of Art.100-(11) par.3 of the same Law after the amendment shall apply also to the selection of the directors effected prior to the enforcement of this Law.
