I hereby promulgate the Law for Compensation against Loss Incidental to Distribution of Incentive Goods for Delivery of Staple Food.

Law for Compensation against Loss Incidental to Distribution of Incentive Goods for Delivery of Staple Food
Article 1. The Government shall compensate to those persons who, for sale to food-delivering farmers, have purchased clothings, bicycles and fish-manure (excluding herring and sardine guano) scheduled for distribution as the incentive steps announced officially in accordance with the provision of Article 3 paragraph 2 of the Food Maintenance Temporary Measures Law (Law No.182 of 1948) respecting delivery of 1949 staple food (including the joint collection associations under Article 2 of the Clothing Distribution Regulations (Ministry of Commerce and Industry Ordinance No.25 of 1947) with respect to clothing) for such loss as may be deemed inevitable in selling these goods which they had as of February 28, 1950 to such farmers, within the limit of not exceeding \565,000,000 in total, in the fiscal year 1950-51.
Article 2. The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry shall fix the amount of money for compensation under the provision of the preceding Article in compliance with such standard as may be determined by him in consultation with the Minister of Finance.
Supplementary Provision:
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
