Law for Partial Amendments to the Trade Union Law
The Trade Union Law (Law No.174 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 19 paragraph 20, "in Tokyo Prefectural Labor Relations Commission," shall be amended as "in the case of Tokyo-To, Hokkaido, Osaka-Fu or Fukuoka Prefecture."
Supplementary Provisions:
1. This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
2. The Prefectural Labor Relations Commission of Hokkaido, Osaka-Fu or Fukuoka Prefecture shall be composed of the fixed number of members prior to this amendment until such time when new members shall be appointed for the purpose of filling up the increase, under the revised provisions of Article 19 paragraph 20 of the Trade Union Law, in the fixed number of members of the Prefectural Labor Relations Commission concerned.
3. The term of office of the members of the Prefectural Labor Relations Commissions under the preceding paragraph, who are newly appointed for the purpose of filling up the increase, under the revised provision of Article 19 paragraph 20 of the Trade Union Law, in the fixed number of members of the said Prefectural Labor Relations Commission, shall be from the date of appointment to the date of expiration of the term of office of those who are the members of the said Prefectural Labor Relations Commission at the time of enforcement of this Law, regardless of the provision of Article 19 paragraph 11 which is applied mutatis mutandis in Article 19 paragraph 20.
