Law for Partial Amendments to the Postal Savings Law
The Postal Savings Law (Law No.144 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 10 paragraph 1 items (1) to (5) inclusive shall be amended as follows, and in paragraph 2 of the same Article, "item (5)" shall be amended as "items (2) and (5)" :
1. State and local public entities.
2. Land improvement districts, federations of land improvement districts, flood prevention associations, federations of flood prevention associations and entities similar thereto.
3. Governmental, public or private schools and religious juridical persons.
4. Labor unions and the unions or other associations of employees provided for in Article 98 paragraph 2 of the National Public Service Law (Law No.120 of 1947).
5. Charitable associations such as orphanage and the like, and mutual relief associations such as Health Insurance Association and the like, which are non-profit
Article 38 paragraph 2 shall be amended as follows, and paragraph 3 of the same Article shall be deleted:
In case a depositor was unable to make an application for the payment of amount of withdrawal within the period of validity under the preceding paragraph owing to causes not attributable to him, the period, during which he could not make the application due to the said causes, shall not be counted into the period of validity under the said paragraph. The same shall apply to the period during which the payment of the amount of withdrawal was delayed in the case provided for in Article 27.
Supplementary Provision:
This Law shall come into force as from April 1, 1950.
