I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Post Office Life Insurance Law.

Law for Partial Amendments to the Post Office Life Insurance Law
The Post Office Life Insurance Law (Law No.68 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Contents,
"Chapter IV Post Office Life Insurance and Annuities Enterprise Deliberation Committee(Article 68)
Chapter V Health Facilities for Insured(Article 69)
Chapter VI Investment of Reserve Fund(Article 70)"
shall be amended as
"Chapter IV Health Facilities for Insured(Article 68)
Chapter V Investment of Reserve Fund(Article 69)
".
In Article 6 paragraph 2, "Post Office Life Insurance and Annuities Enterprise Deliberation Committee" shall be amended as "Postal Services Advisory Council for the Minister of Postal Services" .
In Article 32, "accident or any one" shall be amended as "accident, any one" , and "or Japanese" B "encephalitis" shall be added next to "(Law No.36 of 1897)" .
In Article 39, "(excepting the rescission provided for by Article 21 paragraph 1)" shall be added next to "In any one of the cases of rescission" .
In Article 43, "Article 21" shall be amended as "Article 20" .
In Article 44, "accident or any one" shall be amended as "accident, any one" , and "or Japanese" B "encephalitis" shall be added next to "Prevention of Communicable Diseases Law" .
Article 45 shall be amended as follows:
Chapter IV shall be deleted, Chapter V shall be made Chapter IV, and Article 69 shall be made Article 68.
Chapter VI shall be made Chapter V.
In Article 70 paragraph 1, "Deliberation Committee" shall be amended as "Postal Services Advisory Council for the Minister of Postal Services" , and the said Article shall be made Article 69.
In Supplementary Provisions paragraph 3, "31 to 33 inclusive" shall be amended as "32, 33" , and the following proviso shall be added to the same paragraph:
;provided that the provisions of Article 31 shall not apply to the post office life insurance policies that came into force on and before September 30, 1946.
Supplementary Provisions:
1. This Law shall come into force as from April 1, 1950.
2. With respect to the post office life insurance policies that came into force on and before September 30, 1946, the provisions of Article 45 before amendment shall still be effective even after the enforcement of this Law.
