I hereby promulgate the Law concerning Exceptions to the Management of Affairs for Payment of Wages and Other Pays to be paid to the Employees, etc. Engaged in Labor for the Allied Forces in Compliance with the Demands of the Allied Forces.

Law concerning Exceptions to the Management of Affairs for Payment of Wages and Other Pays to be paid to the Employees, etc. Engaged in Labor for the Allied Forces in Compliance with the Demands of the Allied Forces
1 If necessary specifically for payment of wages and other pays (hereinafter referred to as "the pays" ) to be paid to employees engaged in labor for the Allied Forces in compliance with the demands of the Allied Forces and workers engaged in the public works financed by the public works expenses or the Counterpart Fund of U. S. Aid to Japan, the Government may entrust a part of the affairs to banks (excluding the Bank of Japan, hereinafter the same) and make the bank manage them.
2 The procedures for entrusting a part of the affairs for payment of the pays to banks under the provision of the preceding paragraph and the necessary procedures for payment of the pays shall be prescribed by the Minister of Finance.
Supplementary Provision:
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
