2 The area meeting to be held by a designated city, town or village shall be held within twice a year at each designated city, town or village. However, in case any of the cities of Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka and Kobe has been designated as provided for in Article 1 paragraph 1, it shall be held within 4 times a year at each race track in the area of the Fu or prefecture in which the cities concerned are situated.
In paragraph 3 of the same Article, "...... the number of the designated cities, towns or villages joining in the union" shall be amended as "...... the number of the designated cities, towns or villages joining in the union (minus 1 for the union in which any of the cities of Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka or Kobe joins)" , and "...... plus 4" in the same paragraph shall be amended as "...... plus 4 (plus 8 for the union in which any of the cities of Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka or Kobe joins)" . In paragraph 4 of the same Article, "...... the number of the designated cities, towns or villages joining in the union" shall be amended as "...... the number of the designated cities, towns or villages joining in the union (minus 1 for the union in which any of the cities of Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka or Kobe joins)" , and "4 times" shall be amended as "4 times (8 times for the union in which any of the cities of Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka or Kobe joins)" .
In the same Article paragraph 5 and paragraph 6 shall be paragraph 6 and paragraph 7 and paragraph 7 and paragraph 8 shall be paragraph 9 and paragraph 10 respectively, and the following one paragraph shall be added as paragraph 5:
"5 The number of the race meeting to be held by the union of the designated cities, towns or villages in the same To, Do, Fu or prefecture and in which any of the cities of Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka or Kobe joins shall be within the number obtained by adding two to the number obtained by multiplication of the number of the designated cities, towns or villages joining in the union by 2 per year at each race track (In cases where the designated cities, towns or villages joining in the union have, prior to the joining, held race meetings, in the year at the track, the number of such race meetings held shall be deducted therefrom)."
In paragraph 6 of the same Article, "...... the number of the designated cities, towns, or villages" shall be amended as "the number of the designated cities, towns or villages (minus 1 for the union in which any of the cities of Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka or Kobe joins)," and in the same paragraph, "(in cases where any designated city, town or village joining in the union has ever held race meetings prior to the joining in the year, the number of such race meetings shall be deducted from the said limitation number)" shall be amended as "(In the case of the union in which any of the cities of Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka or Kobe joins, 4 shall be added to the said limitation number, and in cases where any designated city, town or village joining in the union has ever, prior to the joining in the year, held race meetings the number of such race meetings shall be deducted herefrom)."
同條第八項として次の一項を加える。
The following one paragraph shall be added as paragraph 8 of the same Article:
"8 The number of the race meetings to be held at each race track by any of the cities of Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka or Kobe, which has ceased to be the consisting member of the union specified in paragraph 3 or 6, in the year of its ceasing to be the member, shall be within 4, together with the number of race meetings held by that union in that year at that race track."
同條第九項中「第五項」を「第六項」に、同條第十項中「前七項」を「前九項」に改める。
In paragraph 9 of the same Article, "paragraph 5" shall be amended as "paragraph 6," and in paragraph 10 of the same Article, "the preceding seven paragraphs" shall be amended as "the preceding nine paragraphs."

Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
