I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Undemobilized Persons'Compensation Law.

Law for Partial Amendments to the Undemobilized Persons'Compensation Law
The Undemobilized Persons'Compensation Law (Law No.182 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 3, "100 yen" shall be amended as "300 yen."
In Article 7, "1,000 yen as his home-coming travelling expenses" shall be amended as "from 1,000 yen to 3,000 yen as his home-coming travelling expenses as prescribed by order."
In Article 8 paragraph 1, "1,500 yen per dead as the expenses necessary for the receipt of the remains" shall be amended as "1,700 yen per dead as the expenses necessary for the receipt of the remains."
In Article 8-(2) paragraph 1 and in Article 8-(4), "two years" shall be amended as "three years."
Supplementary Provisions:
1. This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation and the amended provisions of Article 3, Article 7 and Article 8 paragraph 1 shall apply as from November 1, 1949, and the amended provisions of Article 8-(2) paragraph 1 and Article 8-(4) shall apply to those who were demobilized before the enforcement of this Law.
2. The allowance prior to October 1948 which has not been paid by the time of enforcement of this Law shall be paid in accordance with the former prescriptions.
3. Law amending a Part of the Law concerning Undemobilized Persons'Compensation (Law No.277 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 2 paragraph 1 and in Article 4 of the Supplementary Provisions, "two years" shall be amended as "three years."
