I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Law for Annual Payment, Travelling Expenses and Other Allowances of the Members of the Houses.

Law for Partial Amendments to the Law for Annual Payment, Travelling Expenses and Other Allowances of the Members of the Houses
The Law for Annual Payment, Travelling Expenses and Other Allowances of the Members of the Houses (Law No.80 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
Next to Article 9, the following one Article shall be added:
Article 9-(2). The Officers and the Chairmen of Special Committees of both Houses shall be paid sundry expenses during the session only, not exceeding present budget limitations. However, the daily amount shall not exceed \200.
In Article 10, ' "seven thousand (7,000) yen" a month'shall be amended as "nine thousand (9,000) yen."
Next to Article 11 shall be added the following one Article:
Article 11-(2). Any member who is designated by the Speaker to be in charge of lawsuit concerning the indictment of the impeachment of the national personnel commissioner, shall be paid as the actual expenses necessary for his performance of the duty, a certain amount which shall be provided separately.
Supplementary Provisions:
1. This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation. However, the revised provision of Article 10 shall apply as from November 1, 1949.
2. The salary of the secretary to the Speaker or the President, to the Vice-Speaker or the Vice. President, or to the member of the Diet already received after November 1, 1949 shall be regarded as part payment of the salary under this Law.
