Law for Amending a Part of the Law concerning the Provisional Exception to Election Campaign and Others
A part of the Law concerning the Provisional Exception to Election Campaign and Others (Law No.196 of 1948) shall be amended as follows:
The following item shall be added next to Item 1, Article 21:
2 As regards the application of the preceding paragraph, during the period of election campaign, the act of distributing or exhibiting within the electoral district of the candidate concerned, New Year's cards, mid-summer or mid-winter inquiry cards and other cards of similar greetings indicating the names of candidates, names of political parties or organizations or names of those who purport to recommend any candidates or names of those who engage in election campaigns or names of those who are in the same census registration of the candidates, shall be deemed to be an act to evade the prohibition stipulated in the preceding two Articles.
"The previous paragraph" mentioned in Paragraph 2 of the same Article shall read "the previous two paragraphs."
Supplementary Provision:
The present Law shall come into force as front the next general election.
