Law amending a Part of the Charcoal and Firewood Demand and Supply Adjustment Special Account Law
The Charcoal and Firewood Demand and Supply Adjustment Special Account Law (Law No.147 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 6, "3,000,000,000 yen" shall read 5,500,000,000 yen."
Article 7-(2). The Government is authorized to entrust the Central Bank for Agriculture and Forestry with a part of business concerning payment of the purchase-money of the charcoal and firewood.
The Government is authorized to grant to the Bank of Japan or the Central Bank for Agriculture and Forestry necessary fund for payment of the purchase-money of the charcoal and firewood.
The Central Bank for Agriculture and Forestry, regardiess of the provisions of Article 16 of the Central Bank for Agriculture and Forestry Law (Law No.42, 1923), is authorized to manage business concerning payment of the purchase-money of the charcoal and firewood.
Supplementary Provision:
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
