Law amending Part of the Extraordinary Currency Law
Part of the Extraordinary Currency Law (Law No.86 of 1938) shall be amended as follows:
In Art.2, "four grades such as of fifty sen, ten sen, five sen and one sen" shall read "six grades such as of five yen, one yen, fifty sen ten sen, five sen and one sen."
In Art.3, "the extraordinary auxiliary currency with denomination of fifty sen shall be available for currency as legal tender up to the amount not in excess of ten yen" shall read "the extraordinary auxiliary currency with denomination of five yen shall be available for currency as legal tender up to the amount not in excess of one hundred yen, the extraordinary auxiliary currency with denomination of one yen not in excess of twenty yen, extraordinary auxiliary currency with denomination of fifty sen not in excess of ten yen."
Supplementary Provision:
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
