I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments to be made to the Regulations governing the Organization of the Demobilization Board, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 172
復員廳官制の一部を次のように改正する。
Part of the Regulations governing the Organization of the Demobilization Board shall be amended as follows:
第十條 復員廳は、その所管又は監督する事務に係る民事訴訟につき、國を代表する。
Article 10. The Demobilization Board shall represent the State in case of the civil suit which has a connection with the affairs under jurisdiction or superintendence of the Demobilization Board.
前項の場合において、國を代表して訴訟をする者は、復員廳総裁又はその指定した所属官吏とする。
In the above case, the person to institute the suit, representing the State, shall be the President of the Demobilization Board or the nominated official belonging to this Board.
附 則
Supplementary Provision:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
