朕は、統計法の施行期日を定める勅令を裁可し、ここにこれを公布せしめる。

I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance fixing the date of the enforcement of the Statistics Law and cause the same to be promulgated.

統計法は、昭和二十二年五月一日から、これを施行する。

The Statistics Law shall come into force as from May 1, 1947.
