I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance amending a part of Imperial Ordinance No. 296 of 1911 concerning the common difference, authorization and authorization fee of electric metering instrument and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 120
The Imperial Ordinance No. 296 of 1911 shall be partly amended as follows:
The provisions of paragraph 1, Article 7 shall be amended as follows:
The applicant for approval of the type or authorization of computation electric metering instrument, maximum demand indicater or computation electric metering instrument attached with maximum demand indicating equipment or equipment alike shall pay fee therefor in compliance with the following classifications:
1. In case of application for approval of type: ¥ 1,000.00 per one case
2. In case of application for renewed approval of type after applying alteration to the part other than the main part of the type already approved: ¥ 300.00 per one case
3. In case of application for authorization prescribed under paragraph 1, Article 2:
A. Basic fee:
a) Computation electric metering instrument and maximum demand indicater: ¥ 10.00 per piece
b) Computation electric metering instrument attached with maximum demand indicating equipment or equipment alike: ¥ 20.00 per piece
B. Additional fee shall be paid in complance with the rated amperage and the rated voltage of electric metering instrument as follows:
a) Additional fee in accordance with the rated current:
Below 1,000 ampere ¥ 50.00
For those exceeding 1,000 ampere, ¥ 50.00 for the first 1,000 ampere and for each 1,000 ampere exceeding the first 1,000 ampere or any odd number.
b) Additional fee in accordance with the rated voltage:
Over 300 volt but less than 3,500 volt ¥ 30.00
For those exceeding 7,000 volt ¥ 50.00 for the first 7,000 volt and for each 10,000 volt exceeding the first 7,000 volt or any odd number.
4. In case of application for authorization prescribed under paragraph 2, Article 2:
A. Basic fee Three times of the fee of (A) of the preceding clause
B. Additional fee Same as the fee of (B) of the preceding clause
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
